Privacy policy

Version: September 2026. The German version of this page is the legally binding one.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:

Robert Krupp (del Valle)
CQTA Digital Innovation UG (haftungsbeschraenkt)
c/o Die Diele, Borselstrasse 7, 22765 Hamburg, Germany
Phone: +49 40 84 207 400
Email: info (at) cqta (dot) de

No data protection officer has been appointed, as the requirements of section 38 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) are not met.

2. Principles

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website and our services. This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services, no advertising networks and no social media plug-ins. The video embedded on the Guatemala page loads only after you explicitly click it (see section 8). There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.

3. Visiting the site and server log files

Each time the site is accessed, your browser transmits technically necessary data which our hosting provider stores in log files:

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website and in defending against attacks. Log data is deleted after seven days at the latest.

The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM — Neue Medien Muennich, owner Rene Muennich, Hauptstrasse 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

4. Encryption

This website is delivered over a TLS-encrypted connection (HTTPS). Data transmitted between your browser and the server is therefore protected against interception.

5. Fonts

This website uses the typefaces Archivo and Source Serif 4. Both are stored on our own server and delivered from there. No connection to third-party servers — in particular not to Google Fonts — is established when the page loads, and no data is transmitted to third parties. The fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide — name, contact details and the content of your enquiry — in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention periods prevent deletion. Commercial correspondence is subject to retention periods of six and ten years respectively under German commercial and tax law.

7. External links

This website links to a profile on LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland). This is a plain text link, not an embedded plug-in. Data is only transmitted to LinkedIn if you actively click the link. The respective provider is responsible for processing on the target site.

8. YouTube videos

A video from the YouTube platform is embedded on the Guatemala page. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use a two-click solution: when the page loads you initially see only a preview surface generated on our own server. No connection to YouTube or Google is established and no data is transmitted. Only when you actively start the video is the player loaded. At that point YouTube receives your IP address, technical data about your browser and the page you are on; transmission to the United States is possible. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, the request may be associated with your account.

The legal basis for loading the player is your consent given by clicking, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. It applies to the current session and can be withdrawn at any time by leaving or reloading the page. We embed the video using the extended privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Further information on data processing can be found in Google's privacy policy.

9. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Your data is passed on only to our hosting provider within the framework of data processing on our behalf, and to bodies to which we are legally obliged to disclose it. A transfer to third countries takes place only if you actively start the video on the Guatemala page (see section 8).

10. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

An informal message to info (at) cqta (dot) de is sufficient to exercise these rights.

11. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Ludwig-Erhard-Strasse 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.

12. Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy whenever processing on the website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies in each case.
